HostPapa acquires iHost Networks to expand in the US

iHost Networks, a Web hosting provider for small and medium-sized businesses, has been acquired by HostPapa Inc. It is part of HostPapa’s strategy to expand in the US.

iHost was established in 1996 and provides web hosting, email services, domain names, and applications to small businesses.

HostPapa has made a significant investment in infrastructure, so iHost customers can expect their servers to remain on the west coast. Furthermore, clients will benefit from an upgrade to their servers.

HostPapa CEO & founder Jamie Opalchuk said, “We’d like to give a warm welcome to iHost customers as they join the HostPapa family.”

Furthermore, the company promises small businesses that their websites will load faster and be more reliable on their platform.

In the short term, iHost customers won’t need to do anything. Instead, the firm will update its server performance, which will be comparable to those of HostPapa’s servers.

According to iHost, Nothing will usually change in most cases. Logging in or connecting to your email addresses will continue to be available as before. It is advisable to update your connection settings so your domain name is used instead of an IP address.
