Google has now introduced a structured data markup property for job listings.
This allows candidates to directly apply to employers via the company’s website. In the new editorial policy, Google has set completely new guidelines for content.
Employers can now indicate on their website if there is a directApply option for potential employees to apply.
According to Google, markup for job listings is suitable for those that meet a specified set of user actions required to apply for a job. To be specific, an application process that is simple and straightforward must be offered.

The markup can be used right away, however, the effect may not be immediate because Google is still in the process of integrating the information.
As part of their new editorial policy, Google offers tips to avoid obstructing text and images, excessive and distracting ads, or irrelevant content.
Starting October 1, 2021, Google will apply new rules for editorial content in job listings.
