Google plans to roll out a New Feature to tackle Fake Information

At the Google I/O conference in 2021, the company announced some new features to help people navigate the internet easily, including the new ‘About this Result‘ feature.

On the Google search results page for a given search term, users will see a section called About this Result that contains information about the website, what other sites have said about it, and a Wikipedia page with information about it. Google said its aim is to empower users to make better decisions.

Google’s new feature will help all of us, solve a common problem we often face, and boost its credibility. The feature, however, will roll out globally in a few months.

Also, As part of its development of the Google Lens, Google has also been enhancing its ability to identify objects via an AR camera, such as identifying plants, animals, and translating written text. The latest Google Lens update will make it easier to browse, copy, and even listen to the text you’re translating.

Google is rolling out a new “quick delete” option for improved privacy, which will allow users to delete the last 15 minutes of browsing history with a single click from the Google Account Menu.
