At the Google I/O conference in 2021, the company announced some new features to help people navigate the internet easily, including the new ‘About this Result‘ feature.
On the Google search results page for a given search term, users will see a section called About this Result that contains information about the website, what other sites have said about it, and a Wikipedia page with information about it. Google said its aim is to empower users to make better decisions.
About This Result provides helpful details about the sources of results, including descriptions, & when content was first indexed.
